More Work in Photoshop

Stardate January 26th, the year, 5872:

Last night, I spent a fair amount of time working on a little Photoshop project I assigned to myself. I realized that I don't do very well with photo manipulation in conjunction with stock photos. That is to say, I'm not that great at conjuring images out of other images to create an entirely unique image. Still with me? Great!

So! I stumbled around til I found two nifty images. One was a stock image of a flame, the other a stock image of a woman flinging her hair out of a body of water. Since I have an awkward fascination with both Space and Fire, I decided to turn her into a fire lady. The results were pretty amazing. Since I don't have CS3 or 4, the Hue/Saturation tool doesn't have a huge wide scope, but it makes do. Seeing as how that was a problem, I played with colors til I got two that really worked for me.
